Michelle Obama (LaVaughn Robinson at the time) went to Princeton majored in sociology and received a certificate in African-American Studies. Her Senior Thesis was titled Princeton Educated Blacks and the Black Community (96 pages, 1985, Sociology Department, Located at Mudd Library). She examined how the attitudes of black alumni have changed over the course of their time at the University. "Will they become more or less motivated to benefit the Black community?"
