*Not surprised within first 2 minutes blame Bush came out.

*Didn't like the apologetic tone to the start

*Insincere thanks to the troops

*Admitted this was a campaign political promise point scored.

*Even though this is the end of combat operations, we still have 50,000 troops there. He declared they will all be home by the end of next year. We will see about that.

*Referred to this event of "turn of a page"

*Made a dangerous divisive point about "patriots who supported the war" and "patriots who didn't support the war."

*One thing I did like is towards the end was that he mentioned that the soldiers did their part for America and now it is time for the rest of America for you to do your part at home. But what discourages me about this, is that no one cares and was listening. This news did not make it to the water cooler this week and three days after the speech, when I check the view count on Youtube to see how many people actually viewed the complete speech: part I: 5,310 and part II: 3,710

Now this is what I call “equality”.

The Rev. Al Sharpton held a press conference today to blast Tiger Woods for the lack of diversity among his mistresses. Sharpton claims that the lack of African-American women among Woods’ harem will have a negative affect on the black community, specifically young black girls.

“Why is it that a man who calls himself black can’t bring himself to cheat on his wife with a black woman?” said Sharpton, speaking to a group of supporters in Harlem. “What does it say to young black girls everywhere when you pass them over? Shame on you, Tiger Woods. What would your daddy say?”

Sharpton, who has long championed taking black women as mistresses, said that today’s black athletes need to stop neglecting black women when it comes to extramarital affairs, and should follow the examples of positive black role models such as Jesse Jackson and Martin Luther King, Jr., both of whom cheated on their wives with black women. Sharpton also stressed that cheating with African-American women would help the black community financially by giving black girls the chance to sell their stories to tabloids and gossip magazines.

Added Sharpton, “I’m not asking you to not cheat on your wives, I’m just asking you to give back to your own community.”

Obama's Afghanstan Speech

Took him 80 days to make this decision. Meanwhile leaving the troops out to dry like a lob to a tight end over the middle, causing the bloodest months of the war during their election b/c the enemey smelled blood and weakness.

He gave 80% of troop request.

Why and 18 month timeline? Doesn't that perfectly match his relection campaign timeline. His politcis is more important than national security.

He is basically doing a surge in Afghstan, eventhough he did not support the surge in Iraq and said it didn't work.

Plus he adds a time table for withdrawl giving a "Yes we can't" sign. Playing poker with his cards facing up.

Sounded isolationist and put a dollar budget to our national security.

I sensed no urgency or motivation. It was more aspirational than inspirational. More political than strategic.

How do our troops receive this message to the troops? I heard no mention of victory or success. The West Point cadets were falling asleep. The deployed soliders will be disheartened.

How is the speech received to our enemies? What would Bin Laden want? We may have all the watches but they have all the time.

Who is more motivated to fight now? Our brave warriors or those savage terrorists?

Only part of his speech I did agree with were in the first 5 minutes:

To address these issues, it is important to recall why America and our allies were compelled to fight a war in Afghanistan in the first place. We did not ask for this fight. On September 11, 2001, 19 men hijacked four airplanes and used them to murder nearly 3,000 people. They struck at our military and economic nerve centers. They took the lives of innocent men, women and children without regard to their faith or race or station. Were it not for the heroic actions of the passengers on board one of those flights, they could have also struck at one of the great symbols of our democracy in Washington, and killed many more.

As we know, these men belonged to al Qaeda -- a group of extremists who have distorted and defiled Islam, one of the world's great religions, to justify the slaughter of innocents. Al Qaeda's base of operations was in Afghanistan, where they were harbored by the Taliban -- a ruthless, repressive and radical movement that seized control of that country after it was ravaged by years of Soviet occupation and civil war, and after the attention of America and our friends had turned elsewhere.

Just days after 9/11, Congress authorized the use of force against al Qaeda and those who harbored them -- an authorization that continues to this day. The vote in the Senate was 98 to 0. The vote in the House was 420 to 1. For the first time in its history, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization invoked Article 5 -- the commitment that says an attack on one member nation is an attack on all. And the United Nations Security Council endorsed the use of all necessary steps to respond to the 9/11 attacks. America, our allies and the world were acting as one to destroy al Qaeda's terrorist network, and to protect our common security.

Hey, folks, Want to participate in tweaking the Drive-By Media? You are aware, probably, that Barack Obama lost his bearings recently and said that he was going to campaign in all 57 states. You heard this? And everybody chalked it up to, "Well, he's tired."

You know, this is a Dan Quayle moment. I mean, Dan Quayle goes out there and misspells "potato," and we still hear jokes about it. Barack Obama says he's gonna go out and campaign in 57 states, he was just tired, you know, it's been such a long campaign, he's been so many places, he probably thinks there are 57 states.

Well, I have here a printout from a website called the International Humanist and Ethical Union. And here is how the second paragraph of an article on that website begins. "Every year from 1999 to 2005 the organization

of the Islamic conference representing the 57 Islamic states presented a resolution to the United Nations commission on human rights called combating."

We're participating here in a tweak of the media. Obama said he's going to campaign in 57 states, and it turns out that there are 57 Islamic states. There are 57 Islamic states. "Every year from 1999 to 2005, the organization of the Islamic conference representing the 57 Islamic states," this is from the International Humanist and Ethical Union. And the title of the piece here is, "How the Islamic states dominate the UN human rights council," and there are 57 of them.

So did Obama just lose his bearings, or was this a more telling slip, ladies and gentlemen?

Let me translate and give you the background so you can understand the entirety. At 1016A AM on 30th January, the day of Iraq’s first free elections, the 91st Engineers from 10th Mountain Division report that one of Mus’ab al-Zarqawi’s “lions” of his terror group called Monotheism in the Martyrs Brigade affiliated with al-Qa'ida of Jihad Organization in the Land of the Two Rivers (the Tigris and Euphrates, yes Al Qaida operates in Iraq there is a connection) conducted martyrdom operations (suicide bombing) to attempt to intimidate and prevent Iraqis from voting which resulted in 1xKIA (Killed In Action) and 3xLN WIA (Local Nationals Wounded In Action).

The closest the suicide bomber could get to his target, a neighborhood polling site in Baghdad and Iraqi civilian voters in line, was 500 meter away next to a the Al Iskand Children’s Hospital (which means Kudos to the American and Iraqi Security Forces). The terrorist group failed it’s objective to influence the will of the people and politics through violent and destructive means because not only did voting continue the rest of the day at that particular polling site and across Iraqi, but also the people were observed UAV (unmanned Aerial Vehicle), walking by the only dead body, the Suicide bomber himself (for once a real “suicide” bomber rather than the normal homicide bomber which slaughter other innocent civilians) and spitting on his corpse on their way to place their vote.

Developments would later report, that the body appeared to be of Asian decent (non-Iraqi race, shows you that it is foreigners causing the trouble in Iraq), was a kid not an adult, was in a wheel chair and as witnesses described appeared to had Down’s Syndrome.

I really pity this handicapped kid, whether he could mentally understand what he is was doing or not, had no hope or no idea what did. A Down’s syndrome and Handicapped Kamikaze Wheelchair Suicide Child Bomber it doesn’t get any more desperate than this. This shows you they don't have all these recurited jihadist willing to blow themselves up for all that martrydom with all those virgins that they claim.

Why is it okay and common for the media to confront "Pastor" Huckabee and the "Mormon" Romney and Obama gets a pass everytime?

In a democracy, the president works for us, as an American citizen, I believe I have every right to get an explanation on Obama's affilation to Islam.

Everybody has read or heard about that email was circulating around a couple months ago claiming Barack is a "radical Muslim." Snopes, an urban myth fact checker, did a could job debunking some of the rumors spread about Barack's affiliation to "radical Islam" but it also lays out some very intersting facts about the Obama family tree's connection to Islam for example :

*His father, Barack Hussein Obama, was rasied Muslim in Kenya

*Obama's older 1/2 brother, , still lives in Kenyan and is a Muslim

*When he was two, his mother remarried another Muslim named Lolo Soetoro.

*He then lived in Indonesia for 5 years. Although he did not attend a "Madrass" he did attend schools that were primarily Muslim, many American's don't realize that Indonesia is the world largest Muslim country-home to some of the most extreme Islamic Radicalist Terrorist today.

Why do I have to dig this up myself? Why hasn't Barak come out with this to set the record straight? Is he trying to deceive us?

We are a grassroots coalition of Gold Star and Blue Star families including some with loved ones in harm's way, Veterans, and Americans who share a deep appreciation for our men and women in uniform and support them in their efforts to make America safer by allowing them to complete their mission.
Families United for Our Troops and Their Mission provides a means for our Gold Star Families, who have lost loved ones in the defense of our nation, to find solace in each other’s company, and know that many others share their love, admiration and support for our armed forces. We want all the friends and families of our troops to know that we share their vision of finishing the incredibly vital task at hand and look forward to welcoming them home when the inevitable victory is achieved.

Families United for Our Troops and Their Mission has four basic principles. They are:

The United States was attacked. On September 11, 2001, our nation was victim to an unprovoked attack by al-Qaeda terrorists. This horrific assault was the capstone of a series of al-Qaeda terrorist attacks on our country: the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Towers, the 1998 bombing of our U.S. Embassies in Kenya and Tanzania, and the 2000 bombing of the USS Cole. Our President and government leaders were right to defend our nation by aggressively pursuing the terrorists who took refuge in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Our troops want to finish the job. Our all-volunteer Armed Services are comprised of brave men and women who believe in their mission, trust in their leadership, and strongly want to finish the job in Afghanistan and Iraq before leaving - and that means leaving behind self-governing democracies that can defend themselves.

Democracy abroad is necessary for our security at home. Democracy can and will work in the Middle East. Iraqis and Afghans want to govern themselves and their twin successes will serve as the keystone for a more democratic, more peaceful world.

We will not be safe until the terrorists are defeated. If we do not finish the job in Afghanistan and Iraq, terrorists will be strengthened and will eventually bring the fight to us here in the United States.

Our goals:

1. Support the troops. Ensure that the troops will be given the support they need to complete their mission.

2. Act as a network. Provide a means through state chapter organizations and state and national events for our members to find solace in each other's company.

3. Promote our service members' good work. Actively work to get the good news out by participating in media interviews and writing guest opinions; joining others at events to highlight the accomplishments of our soldiers; and sponsoring advertisements to ensure that the public knows everything our military is doing to defend us and to help people abroad.

Although anyone can join Families United who believes in our four principles, our organization expressly seeks to recruit War on Terror veterans, Blue Star and Gold Star families, all Armed Service veterans and Veteran Service Organizations, and community leaders and organizations.
